Logan Academy of Global Ecology is an ETK through 8th grade public school in the heart of Echo Park, district of Los Angeles. Our Dual Language program (English-Spanish) attracts students from all around town.

At Logan Academy, we believe in fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts through thoughtful and intentional instruction. By connecting math to real-world contexts, we aim to cultivate problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities that can be applied outside the classroom.Through equitable access to inquiry-based approaches, we encourage students to explore mathematical concepts independently, promoting ownership of their learning. Our math instruction integrates play as a powerful tool for hands-on, experiential learning, igniting curiosity and joy in the subject. We value and facilitate math discourse, promoting active engagement and collaboration.Our goal is for every child to see themselves as mathematicians, fostering a positive mindset and empowering them to excel in mathematics.
